Director: Antoine Bardou-Jacquet
Starring: Ron Perlman, Rupert Grint, Robert Sheehan, Stephen Campbell Moore
Synopsis: A CIA agent and a rock manager must convince renown director Stanley Kubrick to fake the moon landing in a movie studio.
Notes: For a directorial debut, Bardou-Jacquet is certainly shooting for (wait for it) the moon. Conspiracy theories have been turned into movies before, but none have had the fluid satire or talented cast to make it as memorable a parade of absurdity as this appears to be. Overly silly, perhaps, but it’s insightful to contemplate how absurd reality could be.
